New Feature: Pause Your Brewlist

August was a fantastic month at We launched our private beta, started sending out invitations to our Kickstarter backers, and shipped our first bags of coffee. We’ll be continuing in private beta mode for a little while yet, but if you’d like early access to the coffee marketplace of the future, join the waitlist!

While we’ve had tremendously positive feedback from our beta customers, there is still lots more we want to do to continue making bigger and better. The good news is: it will continue getting bigger and better every week.

To get things started, I want to share with you a new feature that we rolled out last week: the ability to pause and resume your Brewlist.

Beach trip, anyone?

Imagine yourself going on vacation. Warm sea breeze, gulls calling above the crashing waves, straw hat perched over your shut eyes… Ah, if only.

But next time you do head off to Mexico for that 3 week vacation, one thing you won’t have to worry about is coffee piling up in your mailbox. That’s because:

We’ve just made it super simple to pause your Brewlist anytime with a single click.

At the bottom of the Brewlist panel you’ll now notice a pause button on the right. Click, and your Brewlist is paused. When you’re ready to get things going again, click the same button (now a “play” symbol) or the “Resume” link at the top of the Brewlist and, voila, you’re back in business.

Some companies try to make it next to impossible for you to put your subscription on hold. We do the opposite: make it easy.

Other handy controls

While we’re talking about the Brewlist, did you know that you can also change the delivery frequency and re-sort the order of the coffees, right from the Brewlist panel? There’s a handy dropdown menu for selecting how often you’d like to receive deliveries. And each coffee can be dragged and dropped (on computers at least, but not yet on mobile devices) to change its position in the list.
