This is a very optimistic view. Of those ~98% of human-related causes, some of them translate machine-related mistakes especially in difficult situations that involve multiple cars making the same decisions. Now we’re dealing with issues that have to do with vehicle-to-vehicle communication or mapping or a sudden change of road conditions.
