I like the title and the set up, and the take down of the typical article. However, it seems you too, just pay lip service to the economics, and instead went all ‘permaculture-woo-woo’.
(I’m an off-grid homesteader myself, who embraces a lot of permaculture) I think that argument tends to get your points dismissed.
I was hoping you’d go towards pointing out the LOGISTICAL challenges.
- we produce enough food for everyone
- we hungry people and rotting food
- therefore, it’s a supply chain and logistics problem, not a genetic/green rev/science problem.
let’s apply 21st century tech to getting the right food to more people — and paying the producers fairly in the process.
