This campaign was about planting the trees. Every one from us know the importance of a single tree that one tree:

Produce average 2–3 person oxygen per day.

Tree lower air temperature by evaporating water in their leaves.

Increase the probability of rain.

“If a Muslim plants a tree or sows seeds, and then a bird, or a person or an animal eats from it, it is regarded as a charitable gift (sadaqah) for him.” — Imam Bukhari.

Trees are beautiful and useful gifts of nature. Trees are great friends of men. Trees give us flowers, fruits, timber, bamboo, fuels, etc. We can rest under the cool shade of a tree but unfortunately we are cutting the trees although we know the importance of trees. Recently local government of Lahore city cut down the 1300 trees for the road expansion on canal road. This was the thing which inspire us for start our campaign for planting the trees. It a general rule all around the world that “if you cut a one tree so plant two” but unfortunately we are not following it. So we start with finding the proper place where these plants grow effectively with proper care and sun light. For this purpose we choose a nursery where we put these plants because it was the place where plants can grow with proper care.

We decided a day on 13th May when everyone from us reach the nursery and buy the plants. All were excited because it was the time when we were going to do something not for ourselves but for the nature and for our next generation. We buy 5 plants 2 of them were java plum and three were faux. So we put different plants at different places with the intention that in future it will provide shade, fruit and shelter for the birds.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
