Hi, my name is valentine ubalua. I am from Nigeria. I run an education startup Nicademia with the intention of making learning fun, accessible and affordable in Nigeria. My startup is more than 5 years old and Ihave not generated revenue from it. Sometimes, I feel like giving up but the drive and belief in my heart will not let me.

I see my startup industry as a goldmine. You need to keep digging, refine the gold in fire until you get gold. So I believe it’s like that in the education industry in Nigeria.

My startup creates educational cartoons for secondary school students in Nigeria. It was borne out of passion to find a lasting solution to the recurring massive failure in national examinations as well as the poor academic performance by students in Nigeria.

We believe the reason students fail is primarily because of lack of interest in learning. So our mission is to create interest in learning which will motivate students to study more.

We have created a couple of educational cartoons that is fun and entertaining and we want it to go viral so that it will gain the attention of students, teachers, schools, government, companies, well wishers as a new way of learning.

visit our website www.nicademia.com to see some of our educational cartoons and kindly help broadcast so that it will go viral.
