Ubex, the pioneering advertising exchange platform has attended the eminent Deconomy 2018 Summit in Seoul on April 3rd, introducing the project to an immense audience of top blockchain industry professionals and an all-star cast of crypto economy founding fathers, including Vitalik Buterin and others.
The highlight of the day for the Ubex project team was a meeting with Roger Ver, one of the top Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash investors in the world. During the conversation, Mr. Ver made it clear that he is not expecting the appreciation of crypto assets within the next six months. He believes that a turning point can be reached when the mass adoption of crypto by retail operators takes place. However, he also agrees that the adoption of cryptos can start taking place by other players of the industry, like advertising agencies and publishers who might start using crypto assets for their transactions.
The application of cryptos by prominent companies will induce a large number of new inflows into the crypto economy. As a result, Roger Ver believes that the market will start regaining momentum. He also understands and appreciates the role that Ubex will play in the construction of a new set of b2b customer relation schemes within the crypto ecosystem at large.
Another highlight for the Ubex team was the conclusion of a working agreement with Ismail Malik, Editor in Chief of ICO Crowd. Mr. Malik has officially joined the Ubex team as an advisor and will be helping in promoting the project on the global arena. He will also be involved in providing assistance to the project with his new venture in Seoul by attracting new strategic partners and promoting the project on the Korean market.
Ubex is continuing to reinforce its relations with Korean partners, especially with investment funds, and is planning on conducting joint events and expanding business development.
Deconomy 2018 was a major event that gathered the brightest entrepreneurs, thought leaders, investors, developers, academic and policy groups, and blockchain enthusiasts. The forum consisted of a two-day program, with keynote presentations and panel discussions about major topics surrounding the industry.
The Ubex team is very pleased with the progress of current business development and will be returning to Seoul regularly to strengthen ties with local investors and the local crypto community.
Ubex is continuing its roadshow with the next stop being Shanghai on the 12th of April. Stay tuned for more news and updates from Ubex.
