In Jan 2023, I relocated to Kigali, Rwanda from Lagos, Nigeria after 3yrs as a Growth Marketer for early stage startups in Sub Saharan Africa with a focus on the Nigerian market. I deliberately sought new experiences to pace myself and pursue grad studies. Specifically to explore opportunities of getting into a global remote MBA programme on full scholarship. One year after, let’s review how that turned out. I got into Quantic MBA on full scholarship and so far I’ve helped 4 candidates review their applications. Two got in on full while two on partial scholarships. I thought it would be worth the effort to write an article about it so that more busy professionals around the globe looking for a flexible MBA programme on scholarship can gain access to relevant information.

Application Stages

Pre-Application — Invitation from Quantic (Not Applicable to all)

An academic adviser from Quantic reached out to me on LinkedIn highlighting that my profile was a great fit to apply for the programme. However this is not a prerequisite, criteria or an eligibility status. You can go ahead and apply regardless of an invitation. It doesn’t influence institution decision making.

Stage 1 — The Application

Following the invitation on LinkedIn, I went ahead to apply. The highlight of the application process typically included writing a short essay on why I should be considered for the scholarship. I received a confirmation email after submitting my application. Use link to start your application → https://quantic.edu/

Stage 2 — MBA Interview

I was scheduled for a brief interview where I was asked to share my intentions for getting an MBA and the reason why Quantic was my preferred institute of choice. I received the confirmation email after my interview.

Stage 3 — Admission Decision

A month later, the admission decision was made and I was accepted into the MBA program.

Stage 4 — The Scholarship

In addition to being accepted, I was among the select few that was awarded a Rising Leader in Technology full MBA scholarship.

Step 5 — Transcript Submission

Upon registration, students are required to submit unofficial transcripts confirming that the minimum eligibility criteria is met by the Enrollment Documents Deadline, four weeks prior to the start of the program. Additionally, Quantic requires all students to supply official transcripts for their highest earned degree by their eighth week in the program. Documents emailed or mailed directly from a student will be considered unofficial. If students are able to provide an official transcript directly from their prior institution by the Enrollment Documents Deadline, the unofficial transcript would not be necessary. The official email to send your transcripts is to registrar@quantic.edu
