Ok so many people are getting on medium. Well, almost many but not that many, yet. I didn’t think I’d get on it though. Only to realize that it was built to encourage existing Twitter users to create longer posts than 140 characters [sic] as Wikipedia states. Now this is something I’ve wanted. Something more than twitter but less than what I’d put up on my blog or doesn’t fit my self-imposed scope of it.

By the way, Twitter is a microblogging platform. So what do you get between a blog and a micro-blog? I think it should be a “milli blog”, since the term “mini blog” is used in a rather diminutive form of existing blogs. Albeit it will still be appropriate but the former is a lesser-known one. Apparently, some guy decided to name his Tumblr so, for a similar reason (read his “about” section). BUT, I can’t get over the fact that “medium” itself is named after “medium-sized blog”. Now, that will bring great competition for my suggestion!

So let’s see how it goes.
