The speakers at the 10th edition of Udgam are Ankur Warikoo (CEO of Nearbuy), Richa Singh (Founder and CEO of YourDost), Saurabh Arora (Founder and CEO of Airwoot) and Manish Sugandhi (Founder of GrabOnRent).
2. Startup India workshop
Udgam is proud to collaborate with the Government of India and present the Startup India worskhop.Students would be exposed to resources catering to their individual needs. Startup India would be hosting a range of activities to help the students understand the different avenues for growth and opportunities that are being provided. Entrepreneurs would be called upon to share their start-up experience and demonstrate how various tools can help a budding entrepreneur. The whole event would also include an open house where students and entrepreneurs can network, discuss and even ideate.
3. Disrupt
The classic pitching battle is reinvented in this edition of Udgam. So, perfect your pitches and fight it out in front of VC’s and angel investors who are here to tear you down and build you up.
4. Hack in the East
A hackathon which aims to create solutions of problems faced in northeast India. Your team will have 24 hours to make an impact and stand out amongst everyone else. Survival of the fittest!
5. Social Business conference
The conference invites Indian and foreign social entrepreneurs and leaders who share their insights and experience about social business and various ways of contributing to the society.
6. Intern fair
This is the first time an intern fair is being conducted in the northeast. It is an amazing platform for companies to find interns and for students to get the guidance and practice they are looking for to boost their career.
7. Virtual Stock Market
Trade Stocks. Make some Money. Earn Bragging Rights. Build your portfolio and react to the markets in real time. Compete against your friends or coworkers to earn your spot at the top of the leaderboards. Build your Portfolio with Rs. 15 lacs and trade stocks using the virtual money at your disposal. In addition to all the events organised, Udgam will also be hosting a networking lunch where students can interact and get advice from all the experienced speakers and judges who are attending our fest. It’s a great opportunity to make the right connections.
