Black is Beautiful

Dear Black Boy/ Girl

Few years back, I wished I was fair and radiant, so I innocently entered a cosmetics store and bought a cream to achieve my sincere desire. Not until two weeks into achieving my desire, my colour changed, I’m unsure of which colour to name it. Chocolate colour, if there is anything like that;seems wonderful for it. To cut the long story short I bleached, over here we refer to it as “coke face and Fanta leg" which means the colour your face is similar to that of coke and your leg similar to that of Fanta". That means my face was dark while my leg — feet was fair. My roommate complained of my skin colour- she asked If I changed cream. I could not provide an answer because I was ashamed to tell her my ordeal. I lost my black colour invariably lost my beauty.

After my roommate showed her concern towards me, I Immediately took that cream and disposed of it into the trash can and vowed never to have such a desire to talk more of pushing to achieve it.
It took months to regain my natural black colour, when it came back, I thanked God for it, appreciated it, admired it and loved it still.

I know you too have desired once, just like I did , to appear beautiful and handsome like the fair folks.
Now let me tell you this;
Black is Godmade, Black is beautiful, Black is natural, Black is Original, Black cannot be purchased in a comestics store.
God foreknew you and had designed your beauty is in your black colour. Don’t question why He created you in that colour,He knew that’s where your beauty radiates. Injuries on our dark skin heals faster and sometimes we can’t trace the scare, our melanin is as strong and can never grow weary even in old age. Our black colour undergoes and survives weather conditions- Harsh or Mild. I can’t appreciate and admire less our black colour because it’s form is top notch and second to none. It is only received from God and not man made.

Dear Black boy/girl, our Black is beautiful, Yes it’s beautiful not just beauty in the eyes of the beholder, It is universally beautiful. Black is beautiful because it’s Godmade, natural and in it’s original state.
Thank God for it, admire it, Love it appreciate it and accept it. To look extremely beautiful,put up a smile on that beautiful black face.
