Only four years? When people are sentenced to twenty years or more in some states for possession of pot? The cop was so far out of line in so many ways that four years is a moderate slap on the wrist, and woefully out of proportion to the magnitude of his offenses. Just his dropping the victim on his face should have been good for five years all by itself. The extended taser use should have got him ten years.

Removing the victim from the view of the dashcam is suspicious in and of itself. I hope the civil suit bankrupts that cop and taints his name so that he won’t be able to get a job as anything more elevated than cage cleaning at the local dog pound.
