Melbourne Cup: 2016 live stream free online

SO you can’t be trackside, but you don’t want to miss a minute of the Melbourne Cup. Here’s how to watch it live — even if you don’t have access to a TV — when the field jumps on Tuesday.

What time’s the race?

The Melbourne Cup field jumps at 3pm (AEDT) Tuesday, November 1, so have your viewing vantage point, be it in front of the box, or online by, then.

What channel on free-to-air TV?

Channel Seven will again broadcast the Melbourne Cup, live. Cup day coverage, including all the lead-up races, starts at 10am (AEDT).

How to watch Channel 7’s coverage online:

No TV? No problem. Live stream the coverage on PLUS7 on Channel 7’s website. And yes, there’s also an app for that.

The race will also be live on Fox Sports — via Sky Racing 1 (channel 519) and (channel 529.)
