Redmi Note 10: full review and Specs
If you’ve previously used any of the Xiaomi budget note series, when you pick up the Redmi Note 10, aside it’s light weight and beautiful design what attracts the most is the stunning AMOLED display. But is that all the Redmi Note 10 has to offer?
The Redmi Note 10 is a significant upgrade and a Worthy successor of the Redmi note 9. The Note 10 has a really good design and a solid build. It has a gorilla glass 3 on the display, the back is built of plastic and not glass. Plastic is the preference for durability and it’s also lighter than glass. That is to say that the Redmi Note 10 is light weight and with those curved rear it is very comfortable to hold.
The available colors are Onyx Grey, Pebble White and Aqua Green. It is a glossy finish and it attracts fingerprint quite a lot so you might want to use it with a case or wipe it very often.
The camera is arranged nicely to the left in a more suitable bump compared to what previous Gens had. All their buttons and ports are in their expected position.

The finger print is side mounted and doubles as a power button on the right side of the device. It is responsive and fast as expected if a physical fingerprint scanner.
The Redmi Note 10 supports dual nano sim cards and there is an extra slot for expandable storage. It also has the signature IR-blaster at the top right next to one of the dual microphone.
You also get stereo speakers on the Redmi note 10 with one at the top and the other at the bottom. It produce really good and quality sounds which needs appreciation.
Those Stereo speakers paired with the full AMOLED display makes a really good Media Experience.

The display is 6.43 INCHES and has its selfie camera centered in a hole-punch cut out. It has a display density of 401 pixels per inch.
You also get up to 1100 nits of peak brightness so you don’t need to worry about not seeing some texts when you’re outdoors.
One of the attribute of an AMOLED display is the ability to get vibrant colors. With the Note 10, you have the option to set it to saturated or allow it to choose the best automatically for whatever you’re viewing.
With an AMOLED Display also comes AOD( Always On Display). You also get a couple of options to set it how you like. It also have edge lighting which lights up the edge whenever there’s a notification.
You can also use the dark mode which consumes less battery power.
The display is very responsive and the experience is smooth. Though it isn’t a high refresh rate display like the Redmi Note 10 pro but it feels fluid and not like the regular 60Hz display.
The Xiaomi Note 10 Software is MIUI 12 on Android 11. The MIUI 12 brings a lot of visual changes and some smooth animations too.
The Redmi Note 10 comes In a base 4gb, 6gb Ram and 64gb, 128gb storage. It is UFS 2.2 storage.
What Is The Processor Of The Redmi 10:
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 is powered by the SNAPDRAGON 678 PROCESSOR which has a pretty impressive benchmark score on Geekbench and AnTuTu. It is accompanied by an Adreno 612 GPU which provides fairly good gaming experience even in graphics demanding title.
It doesn’t lag on mid graphics and high frame rate when gaming and there’s less heat dissipation.
The only down side in heating is when using the camera, which heats up more than expected.
What is the battery capacity:
It has a battery capacity of 5000mAh which carries you at least a full day of use. It supports fast charging up to 33 watts and it can get 50 perfect charge in about 25 minutes.
A full charge takes about 1h15m to charge from 0–100 Percent.

On the camera, you get a 13MP Selfie shooter and on the rear there’s a 48MP Quad Camera setup which includes

- 2MP MACRO
It also gets a lot of camera modes including pro mode and slow motion up to 60fps.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 is capable if taking good pictures from it’s main camera and ultra wide cameras with really good dynamic range.
You can also switch to 48MP mode for very high resolution photos. It’s Macro camera is just 2MP so you’re actually better off using the high resolution mode and cropping in.
It has a dedicated night mode which does a decent job of taking better low light photos.
Selfies are usually good both Normal and portraits.
The note 10 shoots videos up to 4k@30fps on it’s rear camera and on the selfie, shoots at 1080p@30fps. It also has slow motion up to 60fps.
CONCLUSION
The Redmi Note 10 is a pretty impressive Device and s significant upgrade over the Redmi Note 9 especially in design and display.
