Forgery by Hero MotoCorp
We often come across the news of deceit and corrupt practices carried out by big corporations and their senior officials. However, most of the times these officials simply get away by bribing the investigation authority and witnesses. These powerful corporates exert political pressure to such an extent that they become almost invincible.
Such is the case of Hero MotoCorp where it’s top management CEO Pawan Munjal and Head HR Smarajit Banerjee arm-twisted the manpower service providing company and robbed off its business through forgery, fabrication, and cheating in the broad daylight.
Roopdarshan Pandey is an individual and a small businessman who provides contract based skilled manpower to large establishments. His company, Brains Logistics Pvt. Ltd. was providing manpower services to Hero MotoCorp since 2011. The Hero MotoCorp and its top officials illegally siphoned off the entire business of Brains and its more than 500 trained manpower which was nurtured and cultivated with long years of hard work, dedication and spending huge money on developing the skill and aptitude.
The news was also published by some of the prominent news networks, The Business line, Dainik Jagran, Chicago Tribune, Business Insider India, and many others.
It is a gross injustice and violation of the rights of a citizen where a giant company like Hero MotoCorp is involved in forgery, fabrication of documents and putting forged signatures of a business entity and its employees and also playing fraud with the inward rubber stamp of the PF office, Government of India. The entire business of Brains Logistics Pvt. Ltd. was taken over by Hero MotoCorp and through hand in gloves with its dummy contractor Surya Enterprises, which is now enjoying the benefit of a decade-long hard work of Roopdarshan Pandey, the Proprietor / Director of Brains Logistics.
This ongoing case reflects a light on the hypocrisy of such big organization who talk of empowering and providing opportunities to the common mass. Mr. Pandey maintains he is yet to receive statutory amounts, taxes, and service charges etc. from Hero MotoCorp and claims his business has incurred heavy losses.
The charges that Hero officials are accused of carries severe punishment. The crime is non-cognizable in nature and may lead up to 7 years in prison.
