My gift on Mothers Day.

Most of you would agree one day isn’t enough to appreciate everything that our mother has done for us. I agree and couldn’t stop thinking what would be the one thing that i could do to make her happy.

Every year is the same i gift her something or i cook for her and that is the end. This year should be different i thought. I went back in memory lane and remembered instances that brought a smile and regret on my face. You are overwhelmed when you think growing up was so convenient when you get excused for your mistakes even when they hurt people you love and who love you more. Having someone you could count on every-time was the most secured feeling one can ever imagine. Her struggle to keep me happy with the hurdles she managed makes me very humble. Her kindness and gentleness in keeping me protected is something that i will always cherish. Nobody is self — made you are who you are because of the values that were instilled in you. Everyday cannot be celebrated by dedicating it to someone but everyday is special if we feel grateful that we have a place we can call home.

So, instead of just wishing her i told her thank you for teaching me TO LOVE. The Smile on her face PRICELESS ☺
