Great article. I think Google still needs a Gmail enterprise marketing automation platform to match Adobe Campaign. Maybe they should buy Marketo, huh? Or build one themselves :)
Still the Optimize platform seems like a match to Adobe Target Standard, and not Adobe Target Premium. I would love some product recommendations in there for retail!
I have not heard anything from Google that should make them less involved with partners.
I do however think that Googke is easier to implement and use for clients and more resources are available.
This makes life a lot easier when wanting to implement one system to control ads and content based on a single dataset. Anyone who has tried matching Adobe Ids with Google cid knows what I mean.
