Good. Enjoyed that article. Intrigued by notion of Time as a design consideration. Of course that depends on context too. Recently I quite enjoyed the pauses and digital pondering of a conversation with IT support over an issue — mostly because it allowed me to multitask with other things. I was working from a remote office and using a laptop. An on-the-go context with a smartphone might be a different experience with delays…

Don’t agree with the take on not showing typing or thinking indicators by the way. Fine with a mature technology and fast roundtrips to the PaaS platform and APIs. Not so fine otherwise… I’d include them. Consider them a furrowed brow or earnest look via GUI affordance.
