There are people who want to chill in a 7 star resort with private pools or beaches. Some people who want untouched nature. While some people like crowd with rave parties, trance music. Few people want to stay up in a hostel for a year . Also there are few people who like to do adventure sports. The answer for all these is —

After finally convincing my two other folks trip to Goa, we finally booked the train tickets with waiting list of 70% probability for confirmation. And to add to this situation there was a prediction of super cyclone ‘kyaar’. But with crazy friends even the super cyclone couldn't stop us. And in a way this super cyclone helped us in getting our railway tickets confirmed.

DAY 0:

All of us have gathered at one of our friends place in powai 10 pm. Little did I know the railway station was 2 hours away till the last 3 hrs of train depature. After 15 mins of dazzle we managed to get the cab but much to our disdain the society gate of my friends place was locked.

Waiting for the watchman to open the gate still not loosing any hope.

DAY 1:

The actual fun began in the train journey once we the train reached konkan area, with the drizzly rains.

Perfect music and perfect batch was a deadly combo of enjoyment.

Passing over some random cave every other minute, crossing over amazing water bodies we had a perfect experience of the trip. Ratnagiri station is one of the beauty everyone should definitely checkout if you are travelling by train.

My friends trying to rush into train for another train horn.

Our plan was to rent a two wheeler (350/- day) and then fly anywhere within Goa. So we got fairly new bikes at Panaji area. The interesting part is we have a clean slate travel plan. We just started our bikes and drove straight and we reached miramar beach area. Next step was to find a hotel to rest for the night.

Finally stumbled at an amazing place (Prainha — Resort by the sea at Dono Paulo )which had a private pool, private beach, amazing rooms, awesome food and splendid service, on top of this there was perfect drizzle which has taken our experience to next level.

DAY 2:

We have spent ample of time wandering all over the resort as there was less clientele in the resort due to the only good thing that made this trip super exciting (super cyclone- Kyaar).

This experience reminds me of:

Our thoughts are like these waves .

Waves never stop.

Waves roll you, sway you, keep you relentless,

Waves are random, they are like chaos, but

Waves still change with low tide and high tides

Waves clash with each other, they push each other

Waves constantly hit the coast aiming to conquer the land, but

Waves are always within the ocean.

Waves never stop

Amazing pool and terrific view had started our morning, This captured part of our souls.

Meditating Views.

With no plan in our mind we again hit the roads of north Goa. We accidentally bumped into a amazing hostel near Anjuna beach called Funky Monkey. This hostel has almost 19 cute pet Dogs and Pets.

Cute cats in Funky Monkey hostel

We then chilled in hostel the whole sunny day.

Pro -Tip: The only way to enjoy Goa off-season is to become a Nocturnal animal- Sleep all the day and Party all the night.

Curlies — beach shack. Is 5 mins walk from this hostel and it is such an amazing place to chill at any point of the day.

Curlies beach Restaurant.

In the evenings we have covered Baga and Calingute beaches. These are the most crowded beaches in Goa to my knowledge. I personally didn't like these places because of the heavy crowd and over commercialization. We just walked from Baga beach to Calingute beach and sat wherever we are tired.

Me just chilling after finding a isolated place between those beaches.

If you are a party animal you can party till early mornings at these places, There are so many bars even bar hopping from one place to another will eat away your night. Though we like partying, we didn't connect to these places so we went back to our hostel and enjoyed lovely conversation with Funky Monkey People. These people are so friendly and everyone of them have a interesting story which kept them anchored in Goa.

DAY 3:

This was our last day in Goa,

We woke early in the morning to see the sunrise, we were exploring Anjuna beach, we were rock walking (not rock climbing :P )and posing for Instagram, At this moment much to our surprise water suddenly poured on us though we were way off from the place we were. We were told that waves were unpredictable on this day because of the super cyclone which is still wandering somewhere in Arabian sea. Irrespective of these many hurdles we continued exploring further and have hiked down a hill to reach a small part of beach where we also made a safety border line next to indicate us to hike back the hill.

The second thing was to book return tickets. Actually we tried to travel till our hearts are full, Something like for some months and years (Of course this was our false premise), Despite being in such beautiful place, after 2 days we became so conscious about our office/work and we planned our return journey. After the tickets we again started our bikes to nearby places, as a result we reached vagator beach, though the place was nice we couldn't connect to it and we were riding our bikes on some hilltops and asking locals about other interesting places.

We then reached to ‘small vagator beach’, This is one of the mandatory place one has to visit in north Goa.We were chilling at Shiva shack small vagator . We had amazing food, then jumped into the beach(finally!!!) and the interesting part was we bathed with fresh water waterfall near the shack. This whole experience was a wholesome package.

Then we did some off-roading near vagator on our way back and went to hilltop. The view of beach from the hill top was flabbergasting.

We then headed back to Panaji to catch our bus. But wait, How would a Goa trip be completed without a church visit, So we went to “Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church, Goa” in panaji. As we had some odd 2 hours to catch our buses we again started exploring some roads-

Finally we reached Bambolim Beach for the sunset. In all the trips the last moments we all feel lost and we feel to stay back in this place forever. But the road and the beach made us so comfortable, we were just lost in the beauty and flashes of our trip. Which are still rewinding in all of our heads.

Thank you Goa !
