Tik Tok NPC Streams Are Awful
From what I can see, humanity is truly dying, and there might not be a way to save it.
No not from climate change or manufactured diseases. We are dying from the absolute stupidity that is Tik Tok.
Tik Tok is a social media platform that focuses on quick dopamine rushes. It has internally corrupted the youth and has slowly numbed our minds.
The new NPC Trend on Tik Tok is all the rave, and it makes absolutely no sense.
Personally I watched clips of the NPC trends on YouTube and other outlets. I could not bear to look at a single clip for more than 15 seconds.
Imagine being a youth that is looking at these NPC Tik Tok streams for more than an hour a day. And it is unreal that people would donate actual money to these streams.
For reference, an NPC is a “Non Playable Character”. The player can move around and commit actions with free will, but an NPC has the same repetitive dialogues and movement.
Just play Grand Theft Auto V, and you will figure out what I mean.
This is exactly what a NPC stream is, it sort of mocks the NPC as being funny and robust. A content creator who makes these types of streams is called PinkyDoll on TikTok.
PinkyDoll has made 7 thousand dollars a day off of NPC streams.
She does the same repeated actions over and over again. She also has a catchphrase where she says,
“Yes yes yes. Mmm, ice cream so good. Ooh, you got me feeling like a cowgirl. Gang gang. Mmm, ice cream so good. Yes yes yes.”
She also pops individual kernels of popcorn with a flatiron.
There are also other content creators who make these “NPC” streams. But most notably, these streams are hyper sexualized and sort of fetishized.
It’s important to say that our youth has sort of been desensitized to reality. Watching a very sexualized NPC streamer doing the same three actions for 5 hours is not good.
Some youths may even donate money to these streams. In my personal opinion, this is wrecking the youth, and is incredibly unhealthy.
