What It Means To Go An Extra Mile

“Go the extra mile, there is no one on it”

Grant Cardone

So there comes many stages in our life, when we have to go an extra mile in order to achieve something bigger and precious. Fear is the thing that keep us bound from the opportunities waiting for us ahead. We say our self that, there may come something odd on our way to some where else. Means we are use to have a fear also in our imagination.

Fear is the thing that plays an important role to achieve something that we desire of. To over come this fear, this week I decided that I’m gonna dropping my resume and cover letter in-person.

Believe me, I was not ready but just decided that I must have to go to over come this fear. So firstly, I make a super hero resume and a dashing cover letter. On Thursday at about 2 pm, I was standing outside the Mill.

I didn’t know the name of the Hr Manager but got a chance to went inside. I was sitting at the admin office when the recipient told me “Hr Manager is on leave, you can submit your resume and cover letter here and we’ll contact you shortly if had any vacant position.”

All my preparation went in vain. I wanted to to utter at least some words to have a nice conversation with the recipient. I took some words from the elevator pitch and spoke to him. His reaction was not changed but I just wanted. So I came back from there that at least I had a chance to speak to a stranger.

So my learning was really awesome. I came to know that how it’s important to have a skill to talk to someone else fearlessly. How much communication skills matters. I’m happy that at least I had experienced that personally with out seeking help or listening from others.

Over all my experience was really good. I have decided that I’ll again go to any other firm for such kinda experience.
