when we say “republicans believe…” we don’t mean ALL republicans. just enough of them. so it is when i say geeks. i don’t mean EVERY geek. but enough. you can decide for yourself whether the appropriate line is a majority, plurality, or so on.

taskrabbit may indeed allow a small number of people to become awesome mega entrepreneurs. but they do so by their own bootstraps. not because of taskrabbit. hence, it only reinforces my point that yesterday’s ladders don’t exist.

that’s the central point. and in a stagnating economy with an imploding middle class, it should concern all reasonable people.
