Throughout human history, there have always been two sides to every situation: the positive and the negative. How we perceive and approach these matters has a direct impact on our lives and subsequently on society as a whole. The potential for success is largely determined by our attitude. Those who approach things with a negative mindset will struggle to achieve their goals and may face difficult challenges. On the other hand, those who adopt a positive attitude may have a longer and more difficult journey, but will ultimately be rewarded with feelings of gratitude, motivation, tranquility, inspiration, and confidence.

To illustrate the power of positivity, I would like to share a personal story that deeply touched my heart. During the seventh week of my Amal journey, passionate friends of my circle and I decided to collect donations for the Edhi foundation at a busy traffic signal. Although I was initially nervous as I had never done anything like this before, we decided to go ahead with our plan on a Friday noon, following the Juma prayer.
In the beginning, I wasn't sure how to go about things and faced countless rejections from people. However, one day a young man, hardly 30 years old, came to me and donated some rupees. He said to me, "Bhai, you are doing such a great job. Back in the day, I was an orphan little kid. I had no one to feed me, no family to take care of me, no food to eat, no water to drink, no shelter to live in, and no friends to play with. But then, Edhi Sahab came and took me under his shade of affection, gave me food, family, friends, and a safe shelter to live and grow. Edhi Sahab even provided me with support for my marriage. All that I have now is because of Edhi Sahab. My brother, keep doing what you are doing, as our society is in dire need of it." His words touched the depths of my heart and I was filled with potential and inspiration. I started collecting funds with renewed energy and enthusiasm. These words changed my perspective completely. I used to be the kind of person with so much ego and attitude, but now I am full of love and a desire to serve this society in every possible way.

As a result of this experience, my circle members and I have formed an NGO named "PEHCHAAN". Our aim is to bridge societal issues and try to fill the gaps. We have organized several initiatives including a winter drive, in which we distributed winter essentials such as jerseys, clothes, socks, caps, and shawls to the needy.

Additionally, we have also taken up the task of filling potholes on the roads to prevent accidents. Despite the challenges we faced, the experience of giving back to our community and helping others in need was truly rewarding and has left a lasting impact on my life.

In conclusion, this experience has transformed me into a completely different person. I am now dedicated to playing my part as an active social worker, using my skills and resources to make a positive impact on my community.
