My Mentor and My Humility

One of my most valued mentor is Sir Afzal from Malakwal, where I grew up. He was my teacher for mathematics in school. I grew fond of his teachings and went to his academy. Later after matric I used to go to him for further guidance and started learning different fields in intermediate. We used to go to river Jhelum and enjoy and walk on the sand and talk on the current and future study opportunities. I went to Lahore for my intermediate but still had contact with him and kept him in loop. After 1st year I joined mathematics classes for 2nd year with him. And after that when I got admission in UET I still go to him and sometime discuss the math problems and especially the applied math. And he has helped me whenever I asked him to. There was almost never when he had refused to help and this mentor mentee relation is one of the reason I have been saved from many mistakes that I could have made in my life.
