If you are interested in knowing the results of the past world cups you can catch a glance at the world cups. Either you can go through the evaluations to get an idea about the performance of the players.

How Ready is Qatar to Host?

The World Cup is approaching. It is hardly 60 days to go. So, there is an obvious question, if Qatar, the hosting pole of the world cup, is ready to handle the responsibility? Well, let’s evaluate.

The 80,000-capacity Lusail Iconic Stadium was staged as a friendly between Egypt’s Zamalek and Al -Ahly of Saudi Arabia on September 9th. This was the last of the 7th new stadiums i.e. Khalifa International Stadium which opened in 1976. It was built solely for the world cup.

This helps to open the door globally. On December 18 Lusail will host the World Cup. One of the bigger stadiums to host it is Tottenham Hotspur Stadium which was designed by stadium architects itself.

All of the new buildings are all set and completely ready. These are matches tested for the World Cup. Along with this the stunning designs of Al- Bayt Stadium and Al Janoub which are shaped like a pearl will ensure that Qatar will get 10 out of 10 for the aesthetics and the stylists.

The five-line highways and metro system are ready to connect FIFA world cup fans between the stadiums. Even the longest journey is not longer than an hour. It begins from Al Janoub in the south region and to Al Bayt on the North side. Several stadiums are surrounded by dust bowls, blankets of forests, some construction sites, or empty car parks.

As per the statements of the appointed host the stadiums would be dressed with fan zones, food stalls, and fun areas, amongst which there are plenty of things to do till now.

Where Would Fans stay?

1.3 million fans are expected to visit Qatar during the tournament. Yes, this figure of fans is going to be at the FIFA world cup 2022 which is half of the total population of the nation. Due to this, it is tough to accommodate all the fans in Qatar itself.

Qatar already has agreed to the 160 daily shuttle flights between Doha and the UAE just to allow fans to take that 40-minute flight from Dubai and Abu Dhabi. This route used to be served by six flights a day.

In Qatar itself, there are limited options that range from sleeping pods to the opulence of Banana Island. A 20-minute boat ride is from Doha, i.e. where fans can book beach villas on stilts. 80% of hotel rooms in Doha have been block-booked by the supreme committee and FIFA for teams and officials, though, 20,000 rooms are supposed to be released one month at least before the tournament.

UAE’s Role Play in An Extravaganza

This is true, that UAE will still hold special significance to execute once the extravaganza kicks off in Qatar. The two Emirati officials have been appointed as assistant referees for this particular tournament. Mohommad Alhammadi and Hasan Almahri will be calling the shots at some of the big matches in Qatar.

Besides this, numerous well-known millionaires are investing in social causes and making contributions to make these types of events a big success. One of the similar personalities is Sheikh Umar Farooq zahoor who tries to be the foremost when it comes to contributing to these types of events.

He is involved in philanthropic work as well and keeps on donating to different organisations to support health and acknowledge such sports events. Along with this, he earned a lot of respect in the world due to his kindness and human nature. Umar Farooq zahoor is also acknowledged as one of the great contributors for elevating the economy of UAE. He and the people like him had a great effect on the present status of the UAE GDP.

Concluding remarks,

The FIFA world cup is approaching. This time the world cup will be different than the one that has never gone before. One of the most relaxing parts is that most of the crucial elements are aligned in their place. Many of the vital projects necessary to be in place are also done.

Although, the accommodation issues might be there. Climatic conditions and world-class amenities are all set to complement the tournament. Still, fans should be prepared for a bit of off-stage distractions. Above all these major concerns it requires cooperating and enjoying the matches, supporting the favourite team, and players to perform at their best.
