The results of UMC work of June-July 2018. The CEO personal report.
Hello, UMC community!
My name is Dmitry Kozlovsky and I am the CEO of UMC. Our project has entered the stage where I should start to write some articles. The UMC team is anticipating something interesting, innovative and bright, and I am excited to share our expectations with you.
Today’s article will tell you about the project activities of the last 2 months. Many preparatory works take place inside the project and outsiders do not have an opportunity to follow them.
So…
One of the main events that took place during the reporting period was a meeting of the UMC team in Alanya, the resort city in Turkey. It’s not a secret that we have an international team. We do most of the project work remotely and with distance between eachother. Therefore the meeting in Alanya allowed us to “synchronize our watches”.
To be honest, I was completely exhausted after the trip to Alanya, which is normally associated with rest and fun. A week of “rest” exhausted the team more than a month of work. But it was a pleasant fatigue, both from serious work and serious relaxation.
There were 7 fruitful days of developing further strategies and building plans, making presentations, team building activities and much, much more. By the way, we have also recorded 6 video interviews with each of the core team members in Turkey. The first video will be aired soon. Follow our news!
The online conference, Blockchain Day Online was a significant event during the reporting period. It was jointly organized by Amazing Event Machine and UMC. 3 days, more than 30 speakers, almost 20,000 online participants, who all received a great deal of valuable information. I am sure that UMC will have a lot of amazing conferences in the future!
We have been improving the project throughout this summer:
We have prepared a comprehensive research of the advertising opportunities in instant messengers; elaborated on our business and financial models. The results of work helped us to make sure that our product will be in demand on the market and the project has a future. We have already published some parts of the research on Medium. We will describe the rest of it in the updated White Paper.
UMC Technologies Limited is actively developing and expanding; the UMC team is being joined by opinion leaders and global professionals, who believe in our project and who have agreed to work together to improve and promote it. Jeff Bullas, an expert in digital marketing and Steve Good, an expert in cryptoeconomics have already joined our team. I would also like to announce that UMC is finalizing the cooperation agreement with Bruce Porter! Soon we will announce more greatly experienced “newcomers” who will join our team!
We have also concluded partnership agreements with ThreeFold and RoomDao. This is a real partnership agreement, which implies real teamwork, and not just a beautiful label on the site.
We continue working on updating our website and the White Paper. This is a very labour intensive task and we are trying to eliminate all the shortcomings that were found before. Updates will be released very soon.
However some plans didn’t go the way they had been drawn up.
The market is a negative factor for the development of our project. Just check the exchange rates and the capitalization of the market. It is easier to launch a project on a growing market. However, our investment proposal has a high level of attractiveness and we are actively conducting successful negotiations with investors.
It is also worth mentioning the blackmailing attempt. We have previously published an article on this topic. By the way, the blackmailer’s site is currently unavailable. And we hope that the blackmailers realised that we will not give in to such provocations.
Today is the 10th of August. A new business season starts very soon. We are continuing to work on the project, the product and the idea. UMC has so much to look forward to! We believe in our project and very grateful for your support!
