What was your answer 😮? What so ever it was, I would like you to keep it in mind as we continue.

Relax, “everyone” is a reader. As far as you can read and understand the following sentences I’ve written so far, you’re a reader. It’s not until you start reading a book a week just like Warren Buffet that you’re a reader. Even though you don’t read like Prof Wole Soyinka, it doesn’t mean you ain’t a reader. As far as you can read this, you are a reader.

Reading is an ability, what you choose to read is your choice. It all depend on what you choose to read.

  • Some all they read daily are texts in advert board, fliers, shirts and words they can find outdoor.
  • I know of a lot of humans, what they read daily are texts in their phone , texts in social media ( Facebook, WhatsApp,Twitter, Hangout, Tinder, bla bla bla, you can name them).
  • While some prefer reading books with benefits, magazines with gains, and so on

All I know is that if you can read this, you are a reader. Which are you among the examples above?

One day I was reading an inspirational book in the market place. One of my friend walked up to me. She grabbed the book I was reading, check the title and questioned me “Joseph, how do manage to read all these type of book? How do you find them interesting ?” As a guy who thinks a lot before talking, I gave her a smile as an answer.

I didn’t have the right answer that day, but today, I do. You might be reading these texts and all you read with your ability are texts in social media and all that. You claim you ain’t a type of person that read, but relax, imagine the number of words you read a day in Twitter. They might be hitting thousands. According to GUARDIAN’S DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY BLOG, IF YOU GO ONLINE AND VISIT 200 WEB PAGES IN ONE DAY — WHICH IS A SIMPLE TASK WHEN YOU COULD EMAIL, BLOG, YOUTUBE, ETC — YOU’LL SEE ON AVERAGE 490,000 WORDS.

Some would disagree that it isn’t possible for them to view 200 web pages a day . Before we argue, relax, do you know how many web pages are there in a FACEBOOK app??

You went to the news feed on FB, that’s a web page. You saw your friends pic ,then you decided to comment, that a web page. Your friend dislike your comment then she decided to text you privately about it. She texted, you saw the notification , then you went to your chat log, that’s a web page.

Don’t lemme explain too much, most of us even view more than 250 web pages. But listen, according to QUORA, there are 90,000 words in an average mid length book. So let’s reason :

We’ve got up to 90,000 words in content filled mid length book, while we see over 490,000 words daily. So factually, we can read up to a single book a day.

I really don’t know what you use your time for, but am sure of sth — You Can Read!!!

Just make the right choice for yourself, read things that would add value to your life.

Twitter savages would give temporary joy not permanent ones. Read books...

The world is upgrading, PDF are in vogue. Be cautious, not everyone is a PDF person. Just read books your way.

These days wise men write of their experiences in life, if you don’t read their books you won’t learn from their experiences.

Bill Gates is one of the most successful humans in the earth right now and yet he still reads. Who are you not to???
