Work Experience vs. Degree?

Say there are two job applicants who are identical in terms of every possible attribute except for one thing; Applicant A started working at McDonald’s immediately after graduating high school, Applicant B got in college.

They are now both 22 years old, have the same skill sets whatsoever but Applicant A has a four-year burger-flipping experience, whereas Applicant B has a degree from a decent college.

I would hire Applicant A in a heart beat; s/he knows how to show up, to take orders, deal with difficult people, deliver etc., Applicant B on the other hand has pseudo-confidence about all those stuff, gained through one-size-fits-all lectures.

Which one would you hire? Please write your answer in the comments section!
