My Top 5 Island Escapes in May

May is one of my favourite months in Europe. Spring is in full bloom, the temperatures, although warm, are not blisteringly hot, the sea is warming up and the summer hoardes have not yet arrived. The best of what a place has to offer can be enjoyed to the max. I can’t think of anything better than escaping to a European island, with or without the kids, at this time of year. Take a look at my top 5 suggestions. I would avoid all of these islands in July and August as they become far too busy and overcrowded.
