I wonder which ‘pattern matching’ in LiveScript do you talking about? Are you about sugar for ‘switch’? I guess it’s not *that* pattern matching, just primitive version of it. And I’m sure LiveScript 2.0 definitely needs own type system. I personally love LiveScript but without good type-system, this mess with runtime errors and stuff I’d prefer Elm/PureScript/ClojureScript/etc. I’m just waiting for day when type-system be invented in LS, I hope it will happen.

I also don’t think that kinda-jsx syntax that different from LiveScript should be part of LS core, but I think that LS just should be able to be extended it with custom syntax like this you want see in LS.
