- Use the faucet to get FTM for gas

Add FTM Opera network to your metamask
Network Name- Fantom Opera
New RPC URL- https://rpc.ftm.tools/
Chain ID- 250
Currency Symbol- FTM
Block Explorer URL- https://ftmscan.com/
Change Your Metamask Network
You will now have an additional drop down which you can choose Fantom Opera Mainnet.
You should not have any FTM yet to make transactions so we will get to this next.

How to transfer funds from Binance Smart Chain (BSC) to Fantom Opera

- Under “from chain,” click the network you would like to bridge assets from
For the purposes of this article we will be using BSC as the cost of gas will be significantly cheaper for you to move assets over. If you are coming from the Wolf Den (your base case will have been on BSC so easy swap)
- Under “token to bridge,” select BNB
- Enter the amount of BNB you wish to send to the FTM Opera network
- Click bridge token
Be sure to confirm the gas fee for the bridge & you’ll be all set. Transaction should take about less than 1 minute to bridge unless you are moving over a large amount.
How to buy FTM
Alright now that you have some FTM for gas & BNB to convert you can buy more FTM (or any other asset on FTM)

- Under “from,” click “FTM” and switch it to BNB
