They Bought A House And Did What?!
This is hands down my favorite podcast. Claudia Sulewski and Finneas created their first episode at the beginning of quarantine, and upload a new episode every week. Well, almost every week. They brushed over a couple weeks here and there, but hey, who can blame them? I can’t even keep track of time these days myself. Besides, they’re solely doing this for fun, so it’s all forgiven.
Most episodes are about 50–60 minutes long, and trust me, those will be the most relaxing minutes of your day (or week). (Seriously though, try listening to this instead of meditating once and tell me if I’m wrong). Every episode they go over the highlights and pitfalls of their week, including any “breaking news” related topics of that week.
So you’re really just listening to a couple converse with each other for an hour here, but they do it in the most entertaining yet relaxing way possible. Both Claudia and Finneas have very calm and soothing voices, which makes the podcast very pleasant to listen to. This also makes it such a great podcast to just tune out to (pun intended).
Don’t get fooled though, because that doesn’t mean it isn’t interesting. It means their podcast is great to listen to whilst doing other tasks (kids these days call it multitasking). I for example, listen to it during my run. Note that I despise running, but this podcast genuinely makes my run a lot more bearable.
All episodes are actually very engaging as well, but in a laid back way, if that makes sense. They make it feel like you’re part of the conversation, like you’re there with them. All and all, this podcast is like reading a book that’s so good, you don’t even feel the need to watch the movie.
