How it all started

It all started with Zuzu’s love for kimonos, then her trip to Japan, where fell in love with Japanese culture and everything around it. Who knows her art, they can see that it has a huge impact on her creative work. It’s very minimalistic yet, uses lots of Japanese references. Zuzu in her art represents the female body and confidence of female characters. She believes in the unlimited power of women and it’s in their true awe of them.

Why Geisha?

Geishas were the slaves of their times. Unimpressed geishas bring you the strengths to free yourself from the walked paths and do and be whatever you want to. It is a celebration of a woman in every form, role, or character.

But why unimpressed?

Because why not? Encouraging them to do whatever they want, be who they want (even if it means staying in PJs sometimes). It’s a safe space to change your mind, change your roles and even not be perfect. We, girls, love to put pressure on ourselves to be the best version of everything.

This is a reminder, that you can be whoever you want to be and change your mind. Life is too short for being just yourself. Empowering women of doing whatever they want, whenever they want it.
