In our last publication, we provided a general overview of the metaverse and the motivation behind it.

We finished by listing the zones & explaining the concept of activities. In this article, we’d like to deep-dive into the latter.

1. Muses

Activities are the building blocks for each zone. Each is a separate business unit, standalone vertical, that should be self-sustainable and managed by a dedicated team.

Like in real life, it is improbable that a restaurant’s architect ends up developing the menu options.

So teams that manage main activities are core partners and will be referred to as “Muses”, which are expected to take care of:

  • Management
  • Marketing
  • Development

Unirexcity, on the other end, should:

  • Provide the venues & the technical infrastructure
  • Provide a set of in-game tools that can be shared across all activities.
  • Support marketing initiatives on all fronts.

2. Business models

Each activity is a business with particular requirements and a unique operating model. So as partners, we’ll work with muses to refine the business model of each activity to generate maximum returns to all stakeholders:

  • Unirexcity (treasury)
  • DAO (if applicable)
  • Muse (partner)
  • Players
  • Investors (Unirexcity owners, among others)
  • Reserved slot for activity-specific need

3. Examples

3.1. Concert Hall

It will be an iconic place for gatherings. We can organize AMAs, keynotes, exclusive streaming events, live events, etc.

However, event management is a very demanding business, the effort required to run it successfully can’t be undercut or underestimated: Find artists, establish a legal framework with them, get everything ready for the event, issue tickets, market the event, sell the tickets, operate & supervise the event, etc.

Stakeholders, in this case, are: Unirexcity, DAO, performers, the audience, management (partner muse), sponsors, investors.

Possible revenue sources: tickets, sponsorships

1.2. Gaming center

This is a macro overview of how the center will operate:

  • Entry-level

Accessible to everyone, players will be able to select games from a catalog of mini-games, whether Web2 or Web3.

There will be logic for earning points, which will help level up the player’s rank in the gaming category.

  • Advanced levels

A new game will be unlocked at each key level, allowing people to discover more and more games as they move up the ranks.

Games will vary, but eventually, we’ll try to build/integrate as many P2E, W2E, *2E games as possible.

The muse will have the following responsibilities:

  • Curate games
  • Continuously acquire new players
  • Improve retention rates
  • Manage featured games
  • Manage the development of new games

Possible revenue sources: Paid games, in-game NFT sales, catalog ads — (featured games)

Stakeholders are: Unirexcity, DAO, players, management (partner muse), sponsors, investors.
