Philip Thrasher, Anyone ought to rather that whatever ideas were expressed didn’t result in the firing of the one that voiced it. That, however — at least in this case — was totally on him. He began well enough, and had he maintained that tone, he’d likely still have his job. He didn’t. He began making judgments that however he arrived at them, were easily refuted and correctly ran afoul of rational thought fully considered. That we may never know his ultimate judgments on the subject is hardly impetus to maintain his otherwise provocational employ. My guess is that the culprit is quite smart, and will learn to tailor his opinions to an audience that is just now civilizing him thus to allow.
