Owen I feel that it does serve a good purpose as far as tailored content is concerned. After all, that’s what we term as smart these days. To not get generic responses, suggestions, etc. However, what we tend to focus on is the data that is being utilized to provide relevant content and eventually bank on the sales. And many oppose that idea. But this data would have been sitting somewhere regardless, every time we use a piece of technology, there is some data center storing all our actions. So why does it become a concern when a piece of software is using this information for some quality service. Maybe its just the result of a psychological fear that someone knows about us more than we would like them to…
