Dear Self: A Reminder About Finding New Love

I know you want to be loved by someone, but don’t settle

Give yourself time to get to know him before you commit

Sometimes we get so beaten up by life’s circumstances, past failures, and not meeting people’s expectations. We forget who we are. We forget our power and all the things that make us amazing women. Amazing women who have a lot to offer this world.
I wrote these words so they can serve as reminders to me and you to never let that happen. Or if it does, to reconnect with our former selves. These words are reminders that we can take the beating, in whichever form it may come, but we must never change or settle for less than we deserve. No matter the cost.
