What I have learned about life.

We live in a world that all of us have ordinary lifes, we do things according to our needs, we think that life is just about work or that life is something very useful, but we really do not think about all the things that life teached us to survive in this world full of bad people and full of discord.

I want to introduce you the things that I learned in life and that at some point it may be useful to you and that it may give you a more clear concept of “life” so you would meditate about all the things that are good, bad and also the things that are not allowing you to live a good life. Before I start, I have learned all these things thanks to all the mistakes that I made in my childhood because when we are born, we don’t know anything about this world and the people who live in it.

“You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.”― Mae West

Now let’s do the next question: .What is life? It’s a tricky, often confusing question.

The usual definition of life, is that it is a system of material entities that can undergo evolution, which implies reproduction, mutation and selection. This is what we are looking for on Mars and on other worlds. We would be most interested if it represented a second genesis, in other words an independent origin of life. It is often pointed out that the definition of life as a system capable of evolution implies that single, isolated individuals not of child-bearing age are not “life.”- Astrobio

But to me, life (not referred to science) is a feeling of being able to find friends and to respect others, to make our own desicions and to make it well, to never give up and the most important: To Love.

That’s my definition, but other people have different definitions of life. That’s because they live a different life than I and they’re adapted to their own environment.

Now, I want to try something, think of your OWN life, of all the things that you do everyday, of your relationships, of your friends and enemies and of your family, and after meditating do the next question: What is life to me?

Infuse your life with action. Don’t wait for it to happen. Make it happen. Make your own future. Make your own hope. Make your own love. And whatever your beliefs, honor your creator, not by passively waiting for grace to come down from upon high, but by doing what you can to make grace happen… yourself, right now, right down here on Earth- Bradley Whitford

Now that you have a clear concept of life in your own mind, it is time to know all the things that you have to know about life (and that I’ve learned) so you would live a better and a smarter life:

1.Life is sometimes hard: Life is not always love because life is sometimes hard, for example a death of a family member or a debt situation or when you have to study for a test, but in those moments you have to be perseverant, and be hopeful that in a certain moment, that problem will be solved, even if it takes years.

2. There’s bad people everywhere: In every place in the world there is people who are interested in the things you have or in your personality or the traits you have, so they will look so loyal to you and be your friends, but in a short period of time they will leave you because their needs are solved thanks to you.

3. Never trust a random person: Except if it is a closer friend to you and you know that he is a trustable person, you never give any data of you or tell stories of your life to people you recently meet or even a stranger. You need to be confident and sometimes quiet.

4. Exceed your limits: You have to test your limits, you can do extreme activities, or reading books to increase your knowledge, or enter to art courses (in general). You need to know the things you are able to do and the ones you are not. Also, this experiences will help you in some cases that life will present you.

5. Be sociable: Practice your language skills and the way you express yourself to other people. I am not saying that you need to be popular, but if you express well and make some relationships that is enough. Do not be shy, express your feelings, but do not exceed yourself (read rule 2) and see how the world around you changes.

To conclude, we have to make the difference starting with ourselves and we can see how the world changes and your life will change. I know it is hard because I lived all those moments and now it is an experience to know, so now it is your turn. What you have learned in your own life? What you have to change now?

It is time to change!
