The meaning of Isolation in times of Coronavirus

The world is a different place. Trying to get to the core of our current anxiety and uncertainty is difficult but I decided to break it down to a simple question:

What will prevail in a post-coronavirus world — empathy and collectivity or exclusion and lack of understanding?

It seems our individual answer to this question derives from how we think of the feeling of Isolation.

As we continuously work on defining UNWIND brand, we realized preoccupation with feelings is at the heart of everything we do. In October of 2019 we published a self-initiated project — The Dictionary of Female Feelings — and its importance occurs to us more vividly as the world grows anxious about the future. What we aim for is dialogue, so we used the DOFF platform to ask our audience as well as some of our smart, close friends how they define Isolation. Here’ what we’ve learnt.

Lesson One: We need to appreciate what we have

It is when people appreciate moments which they didn’t even think they could miss. It is when some of us don’t know when they will see their loved ones. It is a moment to reprioritize our lives and stick to the new priorities, when it is over.” @nat.thecloud
