We’re proud to release v3.0 of the Android miner v2.0 of the IoTProxy

I will get to the features in a moment, however I would like to discuss another two projects for uPlexa that we’re now working on:

iOS Miner:

That’s right! You asked, we are going to deliver. iOS devices are the second most used IoT devices in the world. As much as I may joke about Apple, their market share for IoT is incredible.

Now that we have had time to drill down on the Android Miner & IoTProxy software, it is time for us to produce our iOS miner.

iOS Wallet:

The iOS wallet has also been requested far too often for us to ignore. Therefore, we have began development of our iOS wallet alongside the iOS miner.

We will be releasing a deadline for these two services near the end of the month during our end of the month progress report.

IoTProxy v2.0 Updates:

IoTProxy has been in development since the preparation of Android miner v2.0. IoTProxy is a lightweight proxy that allows IoT Devices to reach maximum efficiency and profits by grouping IoT miners into acting as one singular miner to the stratum protocol/pools. After releasing our beta android miner back in January, we came to the conclusion that mining straight to a pool was ill-efficient for IoT devices, thus, IoTProxy was born.

Today, we are excited to present to you, IoTProxy v2.0. IoTProxy v2.0 now tracks individual workers (ie. individual devices), has an adjustable minimum payout, and a dashboard you can now track all of your workers & payments from with ease.

Features:

  • Individual worker/device tracking
  • Easily accessible dashboard (beta)for managing your devices & payments
  • Adjustable payout minimum

Going forward, we encourage all developers whom may be using IoT devices to mine straight to IoTProxy. We will also be using IoTProxy for our upcoming iOS Miner release.

You may view the beta dashboard at: https://iot-proxy.poolbux.com

Recommended hashrates: 500–12,000H/s

We will continue to improve on the dashboard as we see fit.

Android Miner v3.0:

Back in 2018 we were told by numerous “experts” that IoT mining would never be profitable nor beneficial, but we never gave up. We knew the potential. Many thanks to our intelligent community who has also known the potential and supported our team in making it happen. Our original android miner was our first IoT mining concept. On top of the original UPX algorithm, IoT mining was becoming a reality. However, we needed to step our game up. With the developments of IoTProxy and UPXTWO, we were able to make IoT mining both profitable, and efficient.

In our latest Android Miner v3.0 release, you now have the following features:

  • Adjustable minimum payout
  • Individual worker/device names/tracking
  • Remote dashboard for tracking your workers/devices: https://iot-proxy.poolbux.com
  • Tracking of payouts & TXs on the dashboard

NOTE: If you get “Installation failed”, you will have to uninstall the old “UPX Android Miner”

You may get the latest version at:

Conclusion

We are trying very hard to get UPX listed on higher tier exchanges at this time. We are working with lawyers in the US and Malta to establish a security memorandum for uPlexa stating that it is a commodity (it has already been confirmed we are). In the mean time, we are also working on our third party security audit. Our goal is to get onto a higher tier exchange in order to add an additional layer of security when our users are trading.

That about sums it up this update. Be on the lookout for our first IoT mining challenge starting on Monday, and our exciting end of the month progress report on June 30th, 2019.
