Shock and sorrow after Manchester attack
Footage by Sebastian Diaz captures the chaos outside the arena in the aftermath of the blast.www.bbc.co.uk
I’ve been struggling with what to post about the explosion in Manchester since I first saw the news at about1am. It’s just so heartbreaking.
It is an attack on some of our most vulnerable while they are doing something they love. I’ve taken my daughter to similar concerts and had requests from my son to go to see Ariana Grande recently.
Music is a healing force. It is a beautiful creation of peace, love and passion. To attack children while they listen to music, while they engage in something they love is beyond reasoning. It is beyond comprehension.
My heart and soul ache for those lost, for their families and for anyone connected in any way to the tragedy. It is too painful for words.
Love is the saviour of all. Through love hope can arise and we can find healing and emerge stronger.
