Patent Application No. XXXXXXXX

Title of Invention:

“SECOND THOUGHT: AN IMPROVED REALITY SYSTEM PROVIDING PROACTIVE LIFESTYLE ASSISTANCE”

Applicant(s): [YOUR NAME]

Filed: [Date]

Field of the Invention:

The present invention generally relates to the field of augmented reality (AR) technologies and more specifically to a system and method for providing proactive assistance, warnings, suggestions, and reminders using AR glasses and audio output devices, collectively known as ‘Second Thought’.

Background of the Invention:

As our lives become more digitally connected, there is an ever-growing need for technologies that help users manage, interpret, and interact with their environment in a more proactive and intuitive manner. Existing AR technologies typically require user input for decision-making, which can be disruptive or inefficient for the user. Therefore, a system is required that seamlessly and intelligently incorporates AR technology into everyday life to provide insightful, personalized, and proactive assistance, without requiring direct user command.

Summary of the Invention:

The present invention provides an Improved Reality (IR) system called ‘Second Thought’. It is designed to record, interpret, and provide suggestions, warnings, and reminders to a user based on their interactions and experiences. The system consists of AR glasses equipped with audio output devices (earphones), recording capabilities, and an advanced AI processing unit. The user does not command ‘Second Thought’; instead, they receive passive but insightful feedback to assist in daily decision-making.

Detailed Description of the Invention:

The ‘Second Thought’ system includes the following components:

  1. AR Glasses: These devices, when worn by the user, record visual and audio input from the user’s surroundings. The glasses are equipped with micro-cameras and microphones for recording purposes, and AR display for providing visual cues and information.
  2. Audio Output Devices (Earphones): These devices provide audio feedback to the user based on the processed data. This includes, but is not limited to, reminders, warnings, suggestions, and event recalls.
  3. AI Processing Unit: This is the core of the ‘Second Thought’ system. It receives and processes the recorded data, applies machine learning algorithms and techniques to interpret the data, and generates actionable information. It then provides feedback to the user via the AR glasses and earphones.

The ‘Second Thought’ system operates by recording a user’s surroundings, and analyzing this data in real-time. It identifies key events, actions, interactions, and changes in the environment, and based on its analysis, generates feedback to the user. This feedback includes suggestions for actions, warnings of potential issues, reminders of scheduled or important events, or even recall of past events that could be relevant in the current context.

The system is designed to learn from the user’s responses to its feedback, thus adapting its behavior to better suit the user’s lifestyle and preferences. Importantly, the ‘Second Thought’ system does not require explicit commands or responses from the user; it acts as a passive observer, providing feedback and insights as a ‘second thought’ to aid the user’s decision-making.

Claims:

  1. An improved reality system, ‘Second Thought’, comprising AR glasses, audio output devices, and an AI processing unit, that records and processes a user’s interactions and experiences to provide proactive and personalized assistance in the form of suggestions, warnings, and reminders.
  2. The system of claim 1, wherein the AR glasses are equipped with micro-cameras and microphones to record visual and audio inputs from the user’s surroundings.
  3. The system of claim 1, wherein the audio output devices provide feedback to the user based on the analysis and interpretation of the recorded data by the AI processing unit.
  4. The system of claim 1, wherein the AI processing unit utilizes machine learning algorithms and techniques to interpret recorded data and generates actionable feedback.
  5. The system of claim 4, wherein the feedback includes suggestions, warnings, event reminders, and past event recalls.
  6. The system of claim 4, wherein the AI processing unit learns from the user’s responses to its feedback and adapts its behavior to better suit the user’s lifestyle and preferences.
  7. The system of claim 1, wherein the user is not required to give explicit commands or responses to the ‘Second Thought’ system, thereby allowing it to act as a passive observer and provider of ‘second thoughts’.
  8. The system of claim 1, wherein the AR glasses are equipped with an AR display to provide visual cues and information to the user based on the analysis of the AI processing unit.
  9. A method for providing proactive assistance using the ‘Second Thought’ system, the method comprising the steps of: recording the user’s environment using the AR glasses; processing and interpreting the recorded data using the AI processing unit; generating actionable feedback based on the interpretation; and providing the feedback to the user via the AR glasses and audio output devices.
  10. The method of claim 9, further comprising the step of the AI processing unit learning from the user’s responses to its feedback and adapting its behavior to better suit the user’s lifestyle and preferences.
