Дизайн:

Your theme does not provide a unique enough design with the necessary design quality, features and options to compete in the marketplace at this time. You might consider improving your design with more unique layouts (specially the homepage) in order for it to stand out among other marketplace items.

Хөгжүүлэлт:

How to test the blog/posts layout/functionality — Import the Theme Unit Test [http://codex.wordpress.org/Theme_Unit_Test] file and make sure that: — Posts display correctly, with no apparent visual problems or errors. — Posts display in correct order. — Page navigation displays and works correctly. — As “sticky posts” are a core feature, the theme should style and display them appropriately. — Lack of body text should not adversely impact the layout. — Theme must incorporate both the “Tag” and the “Category” taxonomies in some manner. — Floats are cleared properly for floated element (thumbnail image) at the end of the post content.

wp_head should be placed immediately before head closing tag.

Sorry to say but Tweeco is not yet ready to be included in WordPress category. We encourage you to look through this list of design recommendations while designing themes. Using the theme unit test data https://codex.wordpress.org/Theme_Unit_Test will also help identify issue with basic design elements. Typography # Is the type large enough to comfortably read? Body text should generally be 14px (or comparable size in ems/rems) or larger on desktop, unless using a font with a generous x-height. Do paragraphs have enough line-height? If you squint your eyes, you should still be able to see some space between lines. Is there enough difference between headers and paragraphs to distinguish them from each other? A good rule of thumb is 1.3–1.4 on headers and 1.4–1.6 on body text. Ex: line-height: 1.4; Is the line length of the text comfortable, or does it stretch too far across the page? Line length on larger screens or wider layouts should generally be between 45–75 characters per line. Color # Is the color contrast high enough? Check if the type is readable against its background. You can use a color contrast analyzer tool [ref] to check if a color and its background have sufficient color contrast. Could someone with color blindness still view the site and be able to distinguish between sections and read the text? Color should not be the only way of conveying important information. For many people with color blindness, reds and greens look the same. Theme authors should avoid putting the two colors on top of each other. Ex: don’t put green text on a red background. Design details # Can you tell if the theme has an intended audience? Is the design responsive? Do the details (drop shadows, gradients, etc.) distract at all from the content? Are any icons included in the theme vector? Use svgs with appropriate fallbacks http://www.grumpicon.com/, or an icon font. Is animation used appropriately? Animation should be used only to call attention to the most important elements on a page, or to show change.Animation should not be used purely for decoration. Overall, this is a good concept but there are a couple issues here: Minimal templates can be clean and simple when you manage to handle the white space and details to provide a simple but yet unique template. But if you can’t, it will look like an incomplete template — blank template. In this case, the submitted template is more like a ‘framework’ than a full fledged design. If you’re going with minimalism, you need to make sure all the little details check out.

Our previous decision on this submission still stands. Significant improvements need to be made before being resubmitted. Your item does not provide the necessary design quality to compete in the marketplace at this time. As higher quality designs become available in the marketplace, approval requirements will increase to maintain appropriate marketplace quality. While I’d be able to provide feedback as to how to get this approved, I can only do after it has crossed a certain threshold, quality wise. I’m sorry to say this isn’t there yet.

Overall this item looks clean, but still has a basic feel. The typography needs work and additional attention to detail on consistent element spacing/padding. Please take some time to familiarize yourself with our current library and quality levels of popular items.

Sorry to say, but this theme is not yet ready to be included in WordPress category.
1. Design elements are not consistent, theme uses more than one. Helpful link: http://freshysites.com/uncategorized/web-design-elements-that-are-often-overlooked/
2. Design is not aesthetically pleasing. More info: http://alistapart.com/article/the-web-aesthetic
3. Usability is pretty poor. More info: http://www.nngroup.com/topic/web-usability/
4. Theme seems unfinished too.

I’m very sorry, but we cannot continue until significant improvements are made, please focus on the suggestions given in the previous review. Take some time to familiarize yourself with our current library and quality levels of popular items and resubmit once it’s ready.

It seems like that we’re running in circles here, sorry but changes are not adequate.
1. Overall idea is good, however elements are poorly implemented.
2. Font choice is not good.
3. Typography needs work.

It seems like we’re running in circles here. Demos don’t look improved much. 1. This doesn’t look very presentable: http://envato.d.pr/Ywge/5vyeSpIs keep all fonts the same and remove animations.
2. Menu visibility is low and they also look plain: http://envato.d.pr/156qG/3t0Yu9if
3. Off-border looks very odd: http://envato.d.pr/1dlCI/IZAR02s2
4. Footer is bit crowded: http://envato.d.pr/10FZL/42SkN9eE See inner pages such as http://themes.themewaves.com/apeco/portfolio-page/portfolio-grid/ are so clean, your main issue is within landing pages, they don’t look as good as the rest, also design elements are not the same. Keep it consistent.

Thanks, we’re now getting closer. 1. What we need is either eliminate, or reduce animations as much as possible. At the same time, use them only where really needed and not across your theme. Animations are distraction and distraction reduces usability. 2. Landing pages would still need to look close to what inner pages are, because they’re nice and clean.

Thanks for all design improvements and finally I can say that theme conversion is all right. Moving to code review:
1. Theme prefixing should be theme-name-based and unique to this theme only. Additional prefixes are fine, like when Framework is used, but they also need to use actual names, not abbreviations or initials. See: http://themereview.co/prefix-all-the-things/ This is also covered here: https://forums.envato.com/t/new-wordpress-theme-submission-requirement/9869/105?u=stephencronin
2. Text domains should be theme-name-based and unique to this theme only. Don’t define or use variables. See: https://developer.wordpress.org/themes/functionality/internationalization/#text-domains
3. Theme does not translate all text strings. Translate all and escape the translations. See: https://developer.wordpress.org/themes/functionality/internationalization/#add-text-domain-to-strings
4. Not really sure what you meant here: http://envato.d.pr/6lWL/2xa3Kckg
5. Bundle all scripts/styles instead of using CDN’s.
6. Remove this: http://envato.d.pr/1kyg8/3CSSf7XO themes should not dictate what excludes.
7. Also remove this: http://envato.d.pr/1hkKZ/624QknMR WordPress doesn’t allow by default for a reason, you can move to a plugin.
8. Login should be within: Login Tags: is_user_logged_in(), wp_login_form(), wp_loginout(), wp_logout(), wp_register() Login URLs: wp_login_url(), wp_logout_url(), wp_lostpassword_url(), wp_registration_url()
9. Script/styles must not be hardcoded, use wp_enqueue_* hook and add from function file.
10. charset in header.php should not be hardcoded, use a dynamic tag instead.
11. Security needs to be improved: — https://vip.wordpress.com/documentation/best-practices/security/validating-sanitizing-escaping/ — https://make.wordpress.org/themes/tags/writing-secure-themes/
12. Run and install Theme Check plugin to fix the following issues: http://envato.d.pr/1cjIQ/1qXvJc5y Good luck!

1: Make sure all the WP default widgets display properly in all widgetized areas. You can check with monster widgets plugin. e.g. http://envato.d.pr/1buzD/5iDAiFzZ
2: Please check your site and pages on all browsers advertised as supported. IE9, http://envato.d.pr/18kbi/1mktkkeZ
3: Search results, empty meta at times, hide or improve this: http://envato.d.pr/1jBqb/4ryzFJ91
4: Search results, http://envato.d.pr/klte/27wGgccL
5: Prefixing still needs to be done (See http://themereview.co/prefix-all-the-things/ ) http://envato.d.pr/1aCAs/5V1H7Tzq
6: Hard coded strings remain such as http://envato.d.pr/1kQzb/2cHHtQqz — Translations not being escaped: http://envato.d.pr/1dLfE/53mK8xB1 — http://envato.d.pr/wYb/5340dNQf (See http://envato.d.pr/1dqUJ/30jh4Ckx )
7: Theme Check reported issues remain.
8: Late escape all user output, http://envato.d.pr/oV2v/2WEgEkaX

Sorry, but Lovely looks too similar to what we already include on our Marketplace. Please submit a unique design instead.

1: Titles have too weak of a presence. http://envato.d.pr/14K25/1K7PbaQS
2. Readability issues. http://envato.d.pr/ow1e/2WZRmjzV
3. The text throughout the theme is quite light and difficult to read.
4. Overly minimal. Looks incomplete. http://envato.d.pr/13CDz/4OitN0rw
5. Menu is pretty similar to solopine http://envato.d.pr/1lpNA/I0H77jPa
6. Footer design is not unique http://envato.d.pr/1hh6w/28zi84Hj I have seen very similar designs in other themes. http://envato.d.pr/134Ib/3l48hyc4
5. Contact page is too minimal. http://envato.d.pr/14JaP/4R8vAREx
6. Overall, this is a good concept but there are a couple issues here: We already have a number of submissions with the same overall design and concept and we have to draw the line somewhere. I think we’re reached a point of saturation. At this point, we’re only looking for unique variations of this design: for another one to be approved it would have to have a couple of unique touches and features that differentiate it from what’s already available and definitely be of higher quality. Minimal templates can be clean and simple when you manage to handle the white space and details to provide a simple but yet unique template. But if you can’t, it will look like an incomplete template — blank template. In this case, the submitted template is more like a ‘framework’ than a full fledged design. If you’re going with minimalism, you need to make sure all the little details check out.

1. base64_encode() are not accepted. curl_init, curl_exec, fwrite, fopen, fread, file_put_contents, file_get_contents is not safe, use WP_Filesystem instead. See: http://ottopress.com/2011/tutorial-using-the-wp_filesystem/
2. Fix the many theme check issues.
3. Page comments should be enabled by default.
4. Your theme is very slow.
5. Update pretty photo plugin to the latest version. http://envato.d.pr/1lApR/3oyUiPt3
6. Don’t hardcode charset, use this instead: https://github.com/Automattic/_s/blob/master/header.php#L15
7. Please do not hardcode any meta as it causes issues with SEO plugins.
8. Please use a unique prefix for all function names, custom images sizes, classes, hooks, public/global variables, and database entries to avoid conflict issues with plugins and other themes. For example, themename_ OR frameworkname_ OR authorname_themename_ or any other prefix of your choice. — Read more at http://themereview.co/prefix-all-the-things/ — You can still be using frameworkname_ if you are using a framework while using themename_ for your themes.
9. Prefix these. http://envato.d.pr/4dA1/3Zn7PECh
10. Third party scripts/ styles don’t need to be prefixed to avoid double loading. ref: https://github.com/WordPress/twentysixteen/blob/master/functions.php#L236
11. All theme text strings are to be translatable and properly escaped. http://envato.d.pr/1dqUJ/30jh4Ckx
12. All global variables should be within a function or class.
13. Please make sure you properly prepare your data for $wpdb, check out the following presentation — http://envato.d.pr/10fDJ/6e9m78Al Please also read — http://codex.wordpress.org/Data_Validation#Database — http://codex.wordpress.org/Class_Reference/wpdb#Protect_Queries_Against_SQL_Injection_Attacks
14. Data Validation issues have been found in your theme. All dynamic data must be correctly escaped for the context where it is rendered. — http://codex.wordpress.org/Data_Validation — http://developer.wordpress.com/themes/escaping/ — https://vip.wordpress.com/2014/06/20/the-importance-of-escaping-all-the-things/ Please perform a global search for “echo $” and you will see several issues.
15. wp_reset_query — if you’re not using query_posts(), then you really shouldn’t be messing with the main $wp_query variable, as wp_reset_query() does.

1. Update this http://envato.d.pr/15LGx/2FEoVqhW to reflect your latest design.
2. Remove this: http://envato.d.pr/154bB/4HVwUId1 English already applies in lovely.pot.
3. Prefix everything and use unique (theme-name-based) slugs. Additional prefix is acceptable for when the author is using a framework. It’s recommended not to use initials or abbreviations Please see: http://themereview.co/prefix-all-the-things/
4. Translate and escape all strings. You need to use a text domain to denote all text belonging to that theme. The text domain is a unique identifier, which makes sure WordPress can distinguish between all loaded translations. This increases portability and plays better with already existing WordPress tools.
5. Theme Check reports issues: http://envato.d.pr/oPQC/3UAbwZIz
6. Logo says Ringo? http://envato.d.pr/qZNs/pmyAEkS5, also do not link from your site: http://import.bwdesk.com/ringo/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/ringo-logo.png it must be bundled with your theme. Please double check this, as I’ve seen same issue with your theme before. Good luck!

1. Globals should always be within a function or a class and should be used restrictively & only if theme really needs to. It’s highly recommended not to use them at all just to keep things out of the global namespace, they’re poor coding practice.
2. Directory path should be get_template_directory() and not dirname( FILE ).

8. — Floats are cleared properly for floated element (thumbnail image) at the end of the post content. http://envato.d.pr/1aXtM/23kxQa4m

1. Search with no results looks empty.
2. Your documentation is not sufficient. Please add detailed sections on installation and features navigation with screen shots. Your documentations should explain how to setup the theme similar to the demo without relying on importing the demo content xml.
3. All theme text strings are to be translatable and properly escaped. http://envato.d.pr/1dqUJ/30jh4Ckx example: http://envato.d.pr/19oxL/2mqkMR59

1. Please provide a more in-depth documentation and explain how to install, setup this theme and how it works, step by step, without relying on demo content. For example, how to setup the contact form if its using plugin, how to setup the inner pages, how to setup 3rd party plugin which is used in demo but required custom setup especially the styling etc etc.

2. http://envato.d.pr/17exU/1GtyjQes
3. Please use a unique prefix for all function names, custom images sizes, classes, hooks, public/global variables, and database entries to avoid conflict issues with plugins and other themes. For example, themename_ OR frameworkname_. — Read more at http://themereview.co/prefix-all-the-things/ — You can still be using frameworkname_ if you are using a framework while using themename_ for your themes.
4. Third party scripts/ styles don’t need to be prefixed to avoid double loading. ref: https://github.com/WordPress/twentysixteen/blob/master/functions.php#L236
5. Custom widget areas must use the safety condition “is_active_sidebar” to ensure no naming conflict with other plugins.
6. wp_reset_query — if you’re not using query_posts(), then you really shouldn’t be messing with the main $wp_query variable, as wp_reset_query() does.
7. Enqueue the Google fonts the right way https://gist.github.com/kailoon/e2dc2a04a8bd5034682c Good read: http://themeshaper.com/2014/08/13/how-to-add-google-fonts-to-wordpress-themes/s

1. Prefix everything and use unique (theme-name-based) consistent slugs. Additional prefix is acceptable for when the author is using a framework. Avoid using initials or abbreviations. Here’s a list of the most common things that should be prefixed: PHP function names, PHP class names, PHP global variables, Action/Filter hooks, Script handles, Style handles and Image size names. Please see: http://themereview.co/prefix-all-the-things/ Use centura instead.
2. Translate all strings within PHP variable and escape where needed. JS and TGMPA included (when/if used). You need to use a text domain to denote all text belonging to that theme. The text domain is a unique identifier, which makes sure WordPress can distinguish between all loaded translations. This increases portability and plays better with already existing WordPress tools. Any strings within a PHP variable requires to be translated. https://developer.wordpress.org/themes/functionality/internationalization/
3. All scripts and styles (including comment reply) should be added from functions file and hooked with wp_enqueue_*, don’t hardcode them or include them directly, like in header.php, footer.php, etc. https://github.com/Automattic/_s/blob/master/functions.php#L113-L127 For inline styles use: https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/wp_add_inline_style/ and for scripts https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/wp_add_inline_script/

Your template does not provide a unique enough design with the necessary design quality, features and options to compete in the marketplace at this time. As higher quality templates become available in the marketplace, approval requirements will increase to maintain appropriate marketplace quality. You might consider improving your design with more unique features and graphics in order for it to stand out among other marketplace items. However, a unique design will be a key factor for approval. I know it’s frustrating to be rejected citing uniqueness but recently, we’ve gotten a large number of template with the same overall features and presentation and we have to draw the line somewhere. However, we do accept themes with similar structure but in condition it provides better quality in terms of aesthetic or features.
