She took her hands off the wheels and flung them to the sky with a loud woohoo.

She felt like hugging someone so she wrapped her arms around herself. This was her first road trip to Ohio, and she had sworn to herself to savour it.

She felt a sudden urge to do something adventurous, so she parked her car and hopped out.

She ran to the lonely road and laid right in the centre.

Deep breaths.

She could feel the gentle wind. She was happy, for the first time in a while. No deadlines, no KPIs.

She needed this.
