Of joys and pain. [Drabble Day 9/30]
I want to put an image in your head before he gets back.
I’m laughing so much that it hurts. I’m crying because it does.
How can this pain bring me so much joy? I squeeze my eyelids shut.
He doesn’t know his wife is mad.
He’s back, looking for something. I know he’s not.
He stops to look at me, breathing lividly.
He says I’m beneath him. He says this with a scoff.
Well he’s sweating so much for someone who is above.
“I changed my mind. You will remove that thing”, he whispers, pointing shakily at my protruding tummy.
“You hear?!”
