When it comes to what drives them, I defiantly look at them the same. When judging what missing and our product, and what we wish this person to push forward.
However, IMHO, different levels require different skills (unlike passions), so if it is managerial role or a founder role the skill set (which is another filter) should not be the same. And then the managerial skills, entrepreneurial skills (if there is such thing), story telling, leadership, team formation, will probably be more important than other skills.
