How Fiction is as good as Reality

I’m a Fiction freak in every definition of the word. I’ve gulped down so much fiction over time in fact that I’ve realized there’s a very blurred line between Fiction and Reality. If you ask for a definition of Reality, it’s a very vague definition because it solely depends on our perception of it. Basically, what we feel is true, must be the Reality of the world around us.

In many ways, we’ve honestly just altered our world to fit our prim and proper rules for our Reality. We invented currency because we wanted to have a proper way of exchanging things. We invented roads, rails and buildings because we wanted to live a certain way, to move from place to place a certain way. The word Possible is just a thing that limits our Reality. It’s only as binding as we make it. We’ve all thought about flying cars..dreamed about them, read about them, wished to own one and guess what…we’re changing the definition of Possible to achieve that Reality.

If we alter what’s Possible, Fiction is as good as Reality. All those crazy notions which “Realists” shun might one day be what they’d have to gulp down grudgingly as ‘Reality’. Keep your thinking caps on and don’t be afraid of the word crazy…it only took a year or two for the word ‘weird’ to be given its rightful cool status. Let’s help our “Realists” brothers and sisters by opening their minds’ eyes to ‘crazy’ ideas. Here’s to wishful thinking.

P.S. : It’s just an opinion. If it’s riling you up, you ought to put your own opinion out there. Peace :P
