As per Central Electricity Authority, the scope of the audit includes statutory compliance verification as per the Indian Electricity standard, To suggest electrical safety solutions against fire, shock, explosion, overloading for which audit team conducts a physical inspection to identify the hazards. Plant lighting protection system review has been done which includes need, adequacy, maintenance, and Installation. Base on the applicability static review of electrical hazards in plant operations. Classification of hazardous area and selection of frame proof electrical equipment which includes maintenance aspects. Preventive maintenance system which includes testing, documentation, card history will be review. To identify the root causes of electrical accidents and near misses review at regular intervals is required. Base on sample basis tests it will assess the integrity of insulation of cables and earthing system review has been done.
Corrective actions against any non-compliance of an electrical installation have been taken care of to avoid any electrical hazards.
