Love is not a Weapon

Love is not a weapon. Its purpose is not to harm those who you wish ill upon, even when those same people use their weapons against you.

Love is not alchemy. It is not a substance that instantly transforms the object or your desires into your liking.

Love is not instant. It doesn’t come pre-packaged and ready-to-consume in forty new flavors.

Love is not universal. The love you feel is not the same love that I feel. The love I feel is not the same love you feel. Comparing the two is akin to comparing two incomparable realities.

Love is not a bags of tricks. If you pull it out every time it suits your needs on your schedule, you’re doing it wrong.

Love is not a weapon. Don’t turn it into one.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
