Project Eat that Frog with a Pomodoro
Actually i enjoyed this activity and i have a habit to postpone things so it was a great activity.Overall experience was good. The task which i assigned was my project work and i set the timer completed it multiple times to totally complete the whole work. There were certain distractions including interactions with the siblings and parents obviously they live here so it counts.Mobile phone was also a major distraction i had a phone call from a friend which i had to ignore and several text messages. It was not a easy task as i am not used to do things on time.I think it is a good activity you can divide your task in multiple steps and one thing i noticed was that taking break is also necessary to do the task more effectively.
However, we should not take the break as granted and again get our self distracted in other things cause if we did we would lose interest. One other things i have noticed is to control on your mind you have to act like you are committed to do it even if you are not committed.we have to make a sense of responsibility only then we can fulfill a task when we will feel the urge to complete it.We should not put warnings like something bad would happen if we did not completed the task but rather we should focus on satisfaction you feel when you complete a task in the given time and you feel accomplished even if it is a small task. There was once a speech by Admiral of US Navy he told a very different but interesting thing he said i used to get up early in the morning and do my bed afterwards and it gave me a sense of accomplishment and it gave me a motivation that i have done this thing even though it is very small.
so i think that is a very deep thing you have to accomplish smaller tasks first it can polish you and only then you can achieve bigger goals.
