Become Genuinely Interested In Other People.

Challenges are what that makes our life interesting. “Interested Challenge” was one of them and the idea was to “Let others speak and I should show my interest in listening to them rather than speaking about myself”

Talking about my experience in facing this challenge let me tell you that it was expected to show our interest toward our Friends and Family, but according to me I din’t find it much worthy because these are the people in our lives of whom we listen about now and then. We are aware of their planning and future even if we don’t show interest in them. My idea here is to be interested in people of my surroundings with whom I never interacted before and even if I interacted, than of a level of just greeting each other.

The book of “Dale Carnegie” was quite helpful in understanding the fact that others show interest in you only when you show your interest in them. Following the examples he mentioned in his book, I was obliged to show my interest toward the people around me. Keeping in mind the idea, to speak less and listen more. I went across the conversation with several people of different professions and positions and ended up with the life long lesson to show interest and earn interest !

As I apply thing in my life i found many interesting things. I started to asked my elders about their life experiences. My father told me about the struggle of my Grandfather, how he migrate after distribution and then how he started there business in Pakistan and become such a successful man. Then I found the different education system of other universities. After this I found that many reasons why females are not doing job after asking questions from my first cousin who has recently completed her education but her parents dont allow her to do a job.

know i concluded my discussion by saying If you want others to like you, if you want to develop real friendships, if you want to help others at the same time as you help yourself, keep this principle in mind
